Chic Happens

January 18, 2015

Hello everyone!

This is the second installment of the January series “2014 Mix Up.” This post was originally planned for November’s theme “Mad For Plaid.”

I ordered this skirt during Jibri’s annual Black Friday sale. I immediately loved this plaid skirt and wanted to wear it ASAP. But during the month of December I was collaborating with a few fabulous bloggers to create our Christmas Lookbook series.  It turned out great! Btw!

I loved the idea of dressing the plaid skirt down with a statement tee but turning it back up with a faux leather jacket and booties. The outfit didn’t need much so I added simple accessories so that the main focus could be the skirt.

Style Note: I love this skirt, the material is amazing. I received a quick response after giving Jibri my measurements. I am wearing a size 1.

I am loving this look!!! I might have to recreate a version of this look. I tried to get those boots a few months back when they were on sale but my foot is narrow so they looked and fit horriblely!
