So excited to bring you all another Fashion Friday post. This week I am bringing you all a maxi dress. It is not the typical maxi dress, this one is extraordinary.
Now I know, I know you all have seen me in plenty of maxi dresses but this one is so much more different. It brought me out of my fashion comfort zone, my safe place. My dress is filled with so many trends at times I felt it was too much, for me. This dress is off the shoulders, has a tie in the front, fitted with a split up the back. No lie when I saw this maxi dress I was filled with doubt. My first thought was it would not fit and my second thought was the typical “who do you think you are.” I know as a blogger everyone thinks that you are filled with confidence and you are when you are in your comfort zone.
After trying this dress on it was perfect for me. I loved it. The off the shoulder mixed with the arm sleeves did confuse me at first, but it worked out just fine. I was a little self-conscience about the split because I knew I would not be able to wear my typical shape-wear. It was easy to leave this dress in the dressing room (after snap chatting in it). I showed my mom the dress and she encourage me to get it, so I did. Styling this outfit was so easy. I wore a super cute tassel necklace that went really well with my tapestry fabric shoes.
Style Notes: This dress has a little stretch and I am wearing an XL. I feel it may not be true to size because I am not a size XL. My shoes are true to size in a 10.
