• As An ‘Unleash Your Fierce’ Panelist I Found My Purpose

    Hey curvies!!!

I had the honor of participating in my first panel event, Unleash Your Fierce, with Melody of Fierce Fearless Free. Honestly, after accepting the invitation to participate I was still unsure why I was chosen.

I wrecked my brain trying to figure out how my blog became my purpose. My first thought was ‘okay you love it, but why?’ I then went back and forth over the coming months about my purpose. After having my surgery my love for my blog grew greater. My baby (my blog) was neglected.

I had no clue what I wanted to share and an awesome co-worker advised me to share my weight loss surgery process. I was reluctant but went on to do it any, I have learned that it is fine to do uncomfortable things. After receiving countless emails, direct messages, and comments about my journey I realized my purpose.

My purpose is to provide honest content in an effort to uplift all women regardless of age, shape, or ethnicity through fashion. I also remembered that I found my purpose through other bloggers. I noticed that there was a lack of pear shaped women that looked like me. Everyone has a purpose, you may see it in yourself or others may spot it first. I say live it and enjoy the ride.

You clearly fit right in and your blog exemplifies why you should be invited to more panels in the future!
