My final look for this NYE series is a Denim Chic look! Hopefully these posts have helped you beautiful ladies find the exact style you were looking for during your New Year’s Eve festivities.
Can I just say this was my actual New Year’s Eve outfit! But I did not leave the house, so I wore it on New Year’s Day. I love a bodycon, I love wearing leggings, and I love my vans. But guess what? I am absolutely positively in love with this line of denim. It has the perfect amount of stretch and no lie these jeans do not hold your booty hostage.
I put this look together over a month ago and I was really just playing around. I wanted to try my hand at layering and coincidentally it was pretty cold here in Memphis. So this outfit worked out perfectly.
The Thriller graphic tee is everything. I literally screamed when I saw it. Keep in mind this Thriller video was released 6 years before I was born. It is timeless. I remember watching the Thriller video as a very young child and having nightmares. As I grew older my appreciation for Micheal Jackson grew and somehow my now 12 year old nephew adores Michael Jackson.
Back to this post. When layering I kept the layers light because I get hot easily. The graphic tee was perfect, I added a sheer top (similar), topping this outfit off with my new favorite faux leather jacket. I wanted to keep my shoes simple and went for a pair of comfy booties (similar).
Style Notes: My graphic tee is true to size in a 0x. My sheer top (similar) fits perfectly in a 1x. The faux leather jacket is true to size in a 0x. These jeans were once true to size in a 18, but right now I’m pushing a 16. My booties (similar) are true to size in a 9w.
