Hey Curvy!!!

I am so excited to be bringing you a brand new series “Plus Size Shopping Straight Sizes.” While attending the “Southaven TangerStyle VIP Blogger Event” (here) this series was sparked. This series is all about letting go of the “norm” and trying out new stores. I know if can be challenging or tiring but I am here to tell you to go for it! Stay tuned!

I think you all know Express is one of my favorite non-plus size stores. During my sophomore and junior years of college I went through a preppy phase where I wore a lot of cardigans and boat shoes. I’m glad I have evolved! Express was always my go to either for cute cardigans or super cute graphic tees. I enjoyed myself every time I shopped there.

This outfit really is the epitome of my Express evolution. I am honestly growing into the woman I have always wanted to be and I love it. This outfit is my style right now. I love pairing a bodycon underneath a sheer dress. It gives a sexy silhouette to an otherwise shapeless garment.

Seeing this sheer dress on Express website made me fall in love! I love wearing black, black is my happy color! Seeing this dress made my life so easy because I have a ton of basic black bodycons. I wanted this dress to take center stage so I paired my black block heels and red tassel earrings to complete this look.

Style Notes: I am wearing a size large in this sheer dress. This dress is generously cut, I am typically a 1x or 14 in dresses. My black bodycon is true to size in a 1x. My black block heels are also true to size in a 10.
