Hey Curvies!!!

I spent this past weekend in Atlanta attending Life Styled Honors, which is in its 5th year and is produced by Maui Bigelow of Phat Girl Fresh. This weekend event was was filled with so much love, positivity, empowerment, and fellowship. I was able to hug some of my favorite bloggers for the first time eat really good and drink amazing cocktails. These women showed so much love to me that I am already planning my trip for next year,  April 26-28, 2018. You need to be there!!!

Let’s jump into the events and outfits! Friday night was the All White VIP Mixer where founder of the ‘Me Too’ Movement and Women’s Advocate Tarana J. Burke was honored. It was all love hearing how her friends spoke about her.

For the All White VIP Mixer I went with a custom outfit because I wanted my outfit to be something completely different from my norm. I was able to work with Dallas Designer Porschea Lashae. She listened to my ideas and created the outfit of my dreams! This outfit was a hit with my custom earrings made by Handmade with Love 901, these earrings were hand painted. My tassel bucket bag and black block heels were the perfect piece to complete this outfit.

Style Notes: My outfit was made custom to my measurements and ended up being a 0x for the top and 1x for the bottoms. I went with a simple black block heels.

Next up was the Life Styled Honors event where all of the honorees were introduced by close friends and family for their awards. Hearing how these woman have not only touched their close friends lives but impacted lives of women all over the world.

For this event I continued with the crop top trend by wearing with this set that also included a matching cardigan and pants. I feel in love after trying it on and couldn’t wait to rock it. I went with light blue earrings (similar) and a light blue denim handbag to make the blue in the outfit pop. I completed this outfit with my favorite tan block heels.

Style Notes: I an wearing an XL in the crop top and pants. I was shocked the pants fit but they were generously cut. The cardigan is a size medium but fit perfectly.
