Hey Curvies!!!
I am so happy to bring you all another Millennial Workwear post where we’re talking about seasonal prints. Where I work our dress code is business casual. Often times I feel over dressed and sometimes I feel like I blend right on in. Here at my workplace prints are not an issue, but I have worked in places where you wear a lot black or navy and when you do wear a print you stick out like a sore thumb.
Depending on where you work will determine how much of a seasonal print you can wear and not feel out of place. I wanted to show you all that millennials tend to stick out and why not add some seasonal prints in the mix! This palm tree print has been seen on dress, skirts, and even summertime sets and having it on a wrap top gives me all of the Summer vibes.
With this palm tree printed top I wanted to tone it down without overshadowing it. I opted for a pair of olive green wide-legged pants for the win. These pants are too long for me and more than likely tall girl friendly. These pants were not super clingly and that makes them perfect for work. Completing this outfit I went with yellow tassel earrings (similar) to make the top pop.
Style Notes: These pants are a size 20 and I should have used my true size an 18 or sized down to a 16. These pants are also super long. My palm tree printed top is a 18 and I should have went with my true size 16.
