• Black and White: Gingham

    Hey Curvies!!!

New month means new series!!! It is my birthday month and I am super excited to bring you all my “Black and White” series. My birthday was on the 17th but this series is lasting all month long. I tend to do a black and white series when I have been overloaded with color. Stay tuned!

Gingham has been a favorite of mine for some time. I usually wear gingham in Fall or Winter with some cute tights so I was excited to find this gingham skirt for only $12. I was not sure how this skirt would fit and definitely took a chance. Guess what? It is perfect! The ruching effect is actually created and can be adjusted to your liking.

I really love this outfit because it was totally me. The gingham skirt was perfect and I sized up just to hold on to it for awhile. The t-shirt was perfect because this outfit was a great mix between casual and chic. Did I mention this t-shirt was only $7. This is the most budget friendly outfit ever.

Completing this outfit was everything for me. I found these amazing striped sandals for 60% off and they were $39. Yes, $39!!!! They are so pretty in real life! I added some cute striped and colorful earrings. I also added some super cute bracelets and they completed this outfit.

Style Notes: I am wearing a 3x in my gingham skirt. I wanted to size up because I was unsure about the fabric and I would suggest sizing up. My t-shirt (similar) is a size 1x and it was true to size. My striped sandals are a 9 wide. These shoes fit like a regular 9 and suggest going with your true size.
