I am so happy to bring you all another “Millennial Workwear” outfit post. When it comes to being fashionable in the workplace I am a firm believer in having a healthy balance between quality pieces that may cost a bit more and trendy pieces that are affordable.
I think this is the cutest budget friendly outfit ever. The top (similar) was $12 and the dress, worn as a skirt, was only $13. Now when pieces do not cost a lot I would recommend washing them on gentle and hanging them up to dry. Now, just like your costly pieces the affordable pieces need love too.
Styling workwear items fascinate me a lot. I loved pairing this top (similar) and dress, worn as skirt, together. These two pieces worked seamlessly to create a cohesive look. This outfit is both workplace appropriate and if you take the top off and add a denim jacket you are ready for happy hour right after work! Completing this look are my super comfy hot pink block heel sandals (similar).
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 1x in this top (similar), it fits wonderfully and pretty true to size. My dress, worn as a skirt, is a 2x and is a great fit. I sized up to avoid a tight appearance. My hot pink block heel sandal (similar) are true to size in a 10.
