Statement jackets are on trend this Fall and I am here for them. Now honestly like the floral suit, I loved this statement jacket (in black) but could not see myself in it. I quickly got over it and it ordered it with a 60% off code. Trying on the jacket for the first time was amazing. I literally could not wait for the weather to break to bring it out.
Lets talk about styling this statement jacket! I am the type of girl that loves a statement jacket (in black) and usually pair one with a plain tank top. That is literally my thing. But instead of oversimplifying this outfit I decided to turn my accessories up a notch. I added my new maternity jeans with slashes on the knees, wine colored platform sandals (similar), a beautiful wine and light pink handbag, and some pompom earrings (similar) to complete this look. I love it!
Style Notes: My statement jacket (in black) is a 18, I sized up but now realize the 16 would have fit perfectly. My tank top is a great fit in an extra large. My maternity jeans are a size 3x and have great stretch. My wine colored platform sandals (similar) are true to size in a 10.
