Hey Curvies!!!
I am so excited to be bringing you all a brand new series from Southern Curve Collective. Chasi of Sweat in Mascara, Faith of Faithfully Yours, and myself created this blogger collaborative back in April of this year. We met through social media and have become “Sister’s in Fashion.” I am so excited to be bringing you as we take SCC to the next level!
This week we are taking on plaid. Plaid has been a trend that has comeback to stay and keeps getting better. I quickly realized that I really did not have ANY plaid. I wanted something a little different and went on a search. With my obsession with pink I found a pink plaid blazer that I love.
With a pink plaid blazer, simple styling was best. I wanted the pink plaid blazer to stick out and shine through my outfit. I fell in love with black jumpsuit and knew right a way my low black block heels were a winner. I completed this look with some super cute black and white striped tassel earrings (similar).
Style Notes: My pink plaid blazer is a 2x, a 1x would have fit perfect but I was unsure about sizing. My black jumpsuit is true to size in an 18. My low black block heels are also true to size in a 10.
