Hey Curvies!!!
I back with a new “Millennial Workwear” post. This is an ongoing series that features workwear for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit.
I am riding a blue rollercoaster and do not want to get off! I am a dress girl at heart but a good pair of slacks are important when building a professional wardrobe. These blue slacks are awesome because the material hides all my bumps and lumps making my curves look flawless. My slacks were super long and I had them hemmed up by 3 inches. These slacks are tall girl friendly.
Let’s get into blue plaid shirt! This shirt is perfect for the workplace. It looks like a wrap top but without all of the work. I love how it hits at the waist and lays seamlessly. I will say that I did have to maneuver this top to make sure a lot of my boobs were not out. Completing this outfit are gold statement earrings, gold bangles, and cognac block heels.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 16 in my blue slacks and they fit great. My blue plaid top is a size 14 and is true to size. My cognac block heels are a 10 and are also true to size.
