Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this sparkly shapeless dress!
I must admit as an avid bodycon wearer shapeless dresses have never seemed like an option for me. However, wearing bodycons to work is definitely not an option. But this shapeless dress was pretty perfect. The color with the hint of sparkle, the neck tie, and the length. This shapless dress is everything and more. I cannot wait to wear it to the office because it will undoubtedly be a huge hit.
This dress is pretty perfect! Even with this dress being perfect I wanted to add some accessories because I still like being stylish at the office. I started with this velvet wine headband, its perfect and has pearls all over it. Cute, right? I went with faux pearl earrings because this shapeless dress did not require statement earrings. With this dress being so sparkly I went with black tights and black booties. I felt like I did enough on top. What do you think? Would you have added colored tights or booties?
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 1x in this shapeless dress. The fit is perfect. My black tights are a size 3x/4x, this is the proper size for my height and weight. I love how dark they are. My black booties are a size 10 wide width and they are surprisingly comfortable.
