Southern Curve Collective: Girl’s Night Out

Hey Curvies!!!

I am so excited to be bringing you all a brand new series centered around holiday attire from Southern Curve Collective. Chasi of Sweat in Mascara, Faith of Faithfully Yours, and myself created this blogger collaborative back in April of last year and are finally ready to share some new content. We met through social media and have become “Sister’s in Fashion.” We are so excited to be bringing you all along as we take SCC into 2020!

This week we are bringing you all a Girl’s Night Out look for the holidays! Who needs some GNO holiday inspiration? I am have always been a lover of black as much as I incorporate color into my wardrobe I cannot resist a little black dress. This dress (similar) is perfect for the occasion and even better for a date night!

Can we talk about styling this dress? When I laid eyes on this dress (similar) I knew I wanted this dress (similar) to be the center of attention. This dress is pretty perfect! The velvet material is completely ruched, yes ruched from front to back side to side creating a flawless silhouette. I loved this dress (similar) before my shapewear! With this curve hugging dress I went with all black everything. I grabbed my black block heels from my closet, I would not mind wearing my toes out if we are hopping out the Uber in front of the club. I also went with my black earrings because they were the perfect touch and silver bangles.

Style Notes: I am in love with the structure of this dress (similar), I am wearing a size 2. I sized up to gain more length. My black block heels are an all time favorite in a size 10 and they are true to size.
