Hey Curvies!!!
I am so excited to be bringing you all a brand new series in a brand new year!!! This series will focus on styling my latest obsession “Satin Midi” skirts! I bought one fell in love and ended up with 4! Before I knew it I was creating super cute outfits and decided to share these looks in series. These skirts are super versatile and I can not wait to share these looks with you all!
First up us a monochromatic look! In the past I always wanted to style a monochromatic look but once I got to styling my shoes I would throw on printed shoes. I think I wanted all of the colors to be the exact same and started to over think the entire outfit. With this outfit I just went for it and I loved the way it turned out.
I saw this red satin midi skirt and instantly fell in love. Then knew I wanted a cute red sweater to wear with it. While out Christmas shopping I found this red sweater (similar) for only $19! I had to have it. My red booties (similar) were found in my closet and were perfect. My statement earrings (similar) were icing on the cake and completed this outfit.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 18 in this red satin midi skirt and the size is true because I am wearing my jean size. My red sweater (similar) is a size large and because of the oversized fit it is perfect. My red booties (similar) are old in a size 10 and the fit is true because of the round toe.
