Hey Curvies!!!
Again, I am so excited to be bringing you a brand new series in a brand new year!!! This series will focus on styling my latest obsession “Satin Midi” skirts! I bought one fell in love and ended up with 4! Before I knew it I was creating super cute outfits and decided to share these looks in series. These skirts are super versatile and I can not wait to share these looks with you all!
Second up is this cobalt blue satin skirt! Blue has been my color for awhile now and this cobalt blue satin skirt is truly electric! This skirt reminded me of my love for blue and I had to get my hands on it. When I pulled this skirt out of the packaging I instantly knew how I would style it. My goal for this outfit was “light bright.”
I wanted to style this cobalt blue satin skirt with some neon. I instantly went online to find a neon sweater (similar) and then remembered I had the perfect neon sweater (similar) in my very own closet. How cool is that?! Styling this cobalt blue satin skirt came extremely easy for me because all of the items were found in my closet. I pulled out my black block heel booties (similar), my black and gold small handbag (similar), lastly my black and gold tassel earrings were perfect for this look. Would you wear neon in the Winter?
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 2x in this cobalt blue satin skirt and it is spot on. This skirt does not have any stretch, I would suggest ordering your pants size. I am wearing a size 14/16 in this neon sweater (similar) and it is also true to size. My black block heel booties (similar) are in a 10 and the fit is perfect.
