Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this super chic casual Friday look!
I get so nervous rocking statement booties to work. As a millennial I still struggle with showcasing my personal style in a way that is still professional. I really get to showcase my personal style the most on casual Friday’s. No one is confused and I try to add some type of denim into my look. This look feels like me featuring my favorite white booties.
Rocking white booties can be too much for some women but it has become second nature for myself. White booties (similar) will stop traffic just a form fitting bodycon in my opinion. I decided to style this animal print top with wide legged cropped denim pants (similar). My favorite piece of this outfit was my white tassel earrings.
Style Notes: My white booties (similar) are a size 11, the fit is perfect because they are a bit narrow. My animal print top is in a size 16, I sized up to make sure the buttons did not gap. My wide legged cropped denim pants (similar) are in a size 18 and I could have sized down in a 16.
