Black is the New Black: Color Splash

Hey Curvies!!!

I’m so excited for month of March series “Black is the New Black.” I tend to do a black series when I have been overloaded with color and just need a break. Yes, I still love wearing colors but instead of taking a break from blog I find it creatively refreshing taking a break from color. Now I will admit that I will be featuring a lot of colors on either Monday’s or Friday’s. Let’s get into all of this color with black!

I truly believe that a good pair of jeans will make a good outfit better. I am in love these black jeans. I remember taking them out of the box and knowing they would not fit, well I was so wrong! These black jeans fit me so good. They are soft but not too stretchy distressed but not too much. These are my new favorite jeans and you should own a pair. Grab them here!

After finding the perfect black jeans I was excited to style this outfit. I remembered I bought this graphic tee months ago and it fit so well. My graphic tee (similar) made me feel super cool. I knew I wanted to continue the color splash and went with these colorful platform sandals (they’re under $20!), sign up here. These sandals have so many colors in them and that was the driving force behind my purple tassel earrings. Would you wear so many colors together?

Style Notes: These black jeans are pretty true to size. I am usually between an 18/20 and these are a size 20. My graphic tee (similar) is also true to size in an extra large. My colorful platform sandals (sign up here) are actually a size too big. I ordered an 11 but a 10 would have been perfect.
