Hey Curvies!!!
New month means new series! I’m so excited for the month of April series “Blue Puff.” This series is a combination of two of my most favorite trends right now, puffy sleeves and the color blue. Puff sleeves are so chic and feminine to me and before I knew it I had enough pieces for an entire series. Now whether you choose to accessories with blue or opt for a statement puff sleeve top I am sure there will be something for you in this series! Stay tuned!
I knew I wanted to layer this white puff sleeve top and really did not have any particular item in mind. After deciding to create a blue series I went with a navy blue bodycon (similar) that has been hanging in my closet for forever. This outfit made realize I love to layer and layering does not have to be bulky. This layered look actually created a more defined waistline which is always great.
Styling this white puff sleeve top with a bodycon was totally me. You all should know by now I love a good bodycon. This white puff sleeve top is a statement piece and I enjoyed adding some navy blue. Accessories played an important role in this outfit to bring this look together. I went cognac colored block heels because they are almost flesh toned and my tan round handbag (similar) is the perfect size for this look. Lastly, I went with my wooden statement earrings and gold bangles to complete this look.
Style Notes: My white puff sleeve top is actually too big in a 2x, it was on clearance and I had to have it. My navy blue bodycon (similar) is true to size in a 1x, this dress is actually lined. My cognac colored block heels are true to size in a 10, these shoes are super old and super uncomfortable.
