I am so excited to be bringing you all a brand new Fashion Friday post! If you are new here this is an ongoing series outside of my themed Wednesday posts. Fashion Friday’s are all about whatever I decide to create. And I am usually super excited about the outfit or sometimes even trying something new. Can we get into this super cute mint green shirt dress?!?
I honestly did not realize that my love for mint green was so strong until I laid eyes on this mint green shirt dress. Now I was a little weary because shirt dresses are a huge toss up on my body type. Because of my hips i tend to size up and hope that the top portion of the dress is not too big. Well that worked out wonderfully for this shirt dress. The belt helped contour my waistline significantly. Lets get into styling this mint green shirt dress.
Styling this mint green shirt dress was so fun! I started with my mint green jeweled earrings. The color is spot on and they are so sparkly. Next I found a mint green bodycon and it was the perfect color. I was nervous because I try not match colors especially a specific color like mint green but the color was spot on. I then wanted to add some extra sparkle and went with gold. My gold block heels are everything, they even have a design on the heel. Lastly, my gold bucket bag (similar) was the perfect finishing touch.
Style Notes: My mint green shirt dress is a size 18/20, I sized up because of my hips. My mint green bodycon is a size XL, this is a maternity dress and I could have sized down. My gold block heels are true to size in a 10.
