Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this matching linen set?!
What is better than an outfit that can be worn two to three different ways? As a lover of fashionable work attire this outfit is at the top of my list right now. I am love with the linen material because it is super light and airy. Matching pieces are easiest way to multiple outfit. I could not wait to rock this outfit as a complete set (linen top, linen skirt) for starters. This set is super cute and work appropriate all the way around.
Next stop for this linen skirt was a more casual look for casual Friday. I went with my favorite white tank top and denim jacket. I can not wait to rock my linen top with a pair of cropped jeans. I styled this look the exact same way both times. I loved wearing my yellow platform sandals (similar) because they are super comfy and easy to walk around in. I added my matching yellow handbag (similar) to add more color. I went with gold bangles and gold hoop earrings because every woman needs both.
Style Notes: My linen top is a size 1x and is true to size. My linen skirt is a size 2x, I could have gone down a size because the back of the skirt has elastic. My white tank top is true to size in a 14/16 (1x). My denim jacket is true to size in a 14. My yellow platform sandals are true to size in a 9 wide.
