Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this pink polka dot dress?!
I am crazy about polka dots l, I have never seen a polka dot I did not like. This dress is no different. I honestly do not have a lot of navy blue in wardrobe and I think it is from having to wear uniforms in high school. Oh the trauma. But seriously I saw this navy blue and pink polka dot dress and had to have it. I would not have thought to rock navy blue with a light pink. It looks so good together!
I styled this pink polka dot dress with work im mind. I love a midi dress and this actually hits my calves. I added my light pink earrings, because I love how they sparkle. Lastly, I added my my light pink heels (similar), I have not worn a stiletto heel in forever and I don’t miss them. Which do you prefer stilettos or block heels?
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 16 in this pink polka dot dress. I could have went with a 14 because the top is too big but it fit everywhere else. My light pink heels (similar) are true to size in a 10.
