This is a brand new birthday series! I have been blogging for 6 years and have never celebrated my birthday by giving you all new content. Last year was rough for my family, my only wish was for my mom to get well. With prayer, great doctor’s, and her will to live she was in recovery mode for my birthday last year. This year she is so much better and I actually want to celebrate!
I am honestly obsessed with the palm tree print. I think my obsession is a mixture between my love for green and prints. I have palm tree maxi dresses, crop tops and now I have this palm tree set. I love a good palm tree set just as much as I love a good dress. Sets literally take the guess work out of everything. This set is no different.
This palm tree set is everything because you can tell it was made with a woman in mind. I love how long the crop top is, I have been seeing crop tops that do not even cover your breasts. The fabric allows you to pull the top up for a shorter crop but it is long enough to tuck in. The skirt features a tie in the front creating an overlap over the lower belly, my problem area.
Styling this palm tree set was super easy. I wanted to add more green and went with these green palm tree leaf earrings. These earrings are so vibrant and light to wear. I chose to wear my gold bangles to add more metal to this look. My tan crossbody bag was a nice addition and added dimension to this look. Lastly, I went with tan platforms to elevate this look, literally. They are like walking on clouds.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size XLin this palm tree set. The material is super stretchy. My tan platforms are a size 10 and are true to size and super comfortable.
