Hey Curvies!!!
It’s July Curvies!!! I am so excited for the month of July! My birthday is July 17th!!! I feel like it is only right to have red as the color for this month’s series. Red is my absolute favorite color, then pink. For years I loved red, but had to grow my confidence to actually wear it. Weird right? Thankfully, I am wearing more red these days and I look so cute doing it! This series will feature a casual look, a little red dress, and of course this maxi dress!
It is no secret that I love, love a good dress. Maxi dresses are my Summertime favorite. I remember seeing this maxi dress online and falling in love with the wrap detail. Wrap dresses are bomb! Wrap dresses literally create a snatched waistline on their own. How cool is this? Then add the floral print and this dress easily instantly becomes a new favorite.
Styling dresses for me has become super easy. You are only worrying about one piece instead of multiple moving parts. With this maxi dress I decided to wear my clear block heels. These sandals give the “barely there” illusion and I love it. I then added my dainty gold earrings and gold bangles. Lastly, I added my blue straw bag (similar) for more color.
Style Notes: I had to size up in this maxi dress and I am wearing a size 2x. This maxi dress does not have stretch. My clear block heels are true to size in a 10.
