In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s talk about denim at the workplace. For the longest I never wore denim on Friday’s because I thought my denim had to be super plain. With my current company the dress code is a healthy mix of business casual and casual. I usually dress up daily but I am not restricted with colors. These skinny jeans would be perfect for Friday’s because they are distressed but not terribly torn or worn down.
Styling these skinny jeans were a blast. I went with a clean white tie top. I did not want to take anything away from the jeans. I did however decide to add some color to this look by wearing my neon espadrilles. Lastly, I added silver stud earrings and silver bangles to complete this look.
Style Notes: These skinny jeans are a size 20. I am between an 18/20 and these skinny jeans fit perfectly. My white tie top is true to size in an XL. My neon espadrilles are also true to size in a 10.
