I am so excited to be bringing you all a new series, “Farewell Summer.” I completely understand that the month of September signifies the start of Fall, but here in the South we’re still experiencing Summer-like weather. This series will focus on some of my favorite Summer trends like maxi dresses and coordinating sets. While also creating Fall looks from Summer items.
I hope you all know that my obsession with tie-dye is real and will not be leaving anytime soon! This tie dye set (top, bottom) screamed “Summer, Summer, Summer time” and I needed it in my life! As a tie-dye lover I swooned over how the subtle neon gave this set (top, bottom) life. I was in love! For me sets are just like dresses, most of the work is already done and styling should be stress free.
If you are wearing a set (top, bottom), the majority of the work is done. Please do not stress out about styling. This tie-dye set (top, bottom) was so vibrant I had to be careful not to over do it. I remember feeling like I hit the jackpot when I found these neon sneakers. They are my favorite style and so vibrant! I then allowed my accessories to take a backseat by choosing silver hoop earrings and silver bangles to complete this look.
Style Notes: My tie dye set (top, bottom) was purchased as separates. My top is true to size in a 1x and my bottoms are true to size in a 2x. The fabric is stretchy but not see-through. My neon sneakers are true to size in a women’s 9.5.
