Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into my last Summer Millennial Workwear post!
Summer has come to an abrupt end here in Memphis. We normally do not experience fall-like temperatures until mid-October but in true 2020 fashion things are changing! I decided to end my Summer Millennial Workwear series with an all time favorite, a maxi dress!!! Maxi dresses are so quick and easy while making you look so put together.
I love wearing maxi dresses to work. I always feel extra cute and styling this maxi dress was a blast! I wanted to go with a print on print. I knew my maxi dress had peach colored stripes and I instantly remembered my matching handbag/sandal set. I love how they are similar but not exactly the same. I completed this look with dainty earrings and gold bangles.
Style Notes: I am wearing a standard 18 in this maxi dress, not an 18 in plus size. My sandals are true to size in a 10.
