Hey Curvies!!!
I am so excited to be bringing you all a new series, “Farewell Summer.” I completely understand that the month of September signifies the start of Fall, but here in the South we’re still experiencing Summer-like weather. This series will focus on some of my favorite Summer trends like maxi dresses and coordinating sets. While also creating Fall looks from Summer items.
This is my first Fall look with my white booties this season! I love a good white bootie and these have survived a few seasons and I still love. I know white booties are not for everyone and before owning the perfect pair I though my feet were too big to rock a white bootie, wrong! I think everyone should give them a try at least once, you will never let them go!
Styling my white booties was simply beautiful. I found this dress for only $20 and immediately fell in love. This dress is light like a Summer dress but the print and sleeves makes it Fall approved. I could not wait to add my white crossbody bag to give my white booties some shine. I decided to add my lavender earrings (similar) and silver bangles to complete this look.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 11 in my white booties. I always size up 1 whole size in booties/boots and these are true to size. My dress is a size XXL and I really could have went with an XL.
