Hey Curvies!!!
I am super excited to announce a new seasonal collaboration with Denzel of Denzel Alexander. We will be brining you all seasonal trends with our personal styles in mind. I love the fact that our styles are different yet we definitely proudly represent our respective plus size spaces. Denzel and I have always wanted to collaborate but the timing was not right, well it is right. We are bringing you all a four-part series and third up is plaid.
Plaid is probably my second favorite print aside from leopard. Plaid is classic and works really well dressed up or down. I remember seeing the model on this site wearing this plaid blazer and plaid leggings together. Honestly, I was intrigued by the mixing of prints but I had reservations of the look being translated on me. I think this look is extra bold and if you are ready to make a statement this look will yell it!
I literally found this exact outfit on this site and they actually did all of the heavy lifting. I loved the blazer featuring the traditional plaid print. I also loved these leggings featuring a larger plaid with brown undertones. I wanted to push this outfit over the top and needed a subtle but beautiful print. My snakeskin booties (similar) and snakeskin handbag (similar) were perfect. How do you think I did? I added my gold earrings and gold bangles for an extra sparkly touch.
Style Notes: My blazer is true to size in a 1x. I love my blazers to fit close to my body. My plaid leggings are also true to size in a 3x. My snakeskin booties (similar) are an 11 and I always size up in my booties/boots.
