Hey Curvies!!!
New month, means new series! I am so excited to bring you all the “Comfortably Chic” series for the month of December. This time last year Southern Curve Collective were bringing you all festive holiday looks filled with sparkle and glam. Being that we are in the most of a global pandemic I have decided to bring you all some comfortable yet chic looks that will be perfect whether you are celebrating the holidays at your home or attending a small gathering with friends.
Every time I wear my ‘Purple Rain’ tee people stop me and start singing Prince’s beloved song. I smile super hard and attempt to walk away slowly. Even with everything going on in the world this graphic tee is still bringing strangers joy. What is super funny to me is that this maybe my third ‘Purple Rain’ graphic tee. I feel like it definitely a classic and can be easily dress up or down. I have worn my tee with black distressed denim, a super cute skirt, and now my favorite camo pants.
Styling this ‘Purple Rain’ graphic tee is always joy and has endless possibilities. I remember purchasing these Jordan 1s and instantly pairing them with my ‘Purple Rain’ graphic tee. I was not concerned with the different purples because I knew they would all sync pretty well. Then I was stomped with which bottoms to wear and after talking to my friends I decided on my favorite camo pants. These camo pants are a dream and extremely comfortable. Without giving it much thought I knew I was going to add my purple faux fur. I love this outfit so much and it reflects my casual vibe.
Style Notes: My Purple Rain graphic tee is true to size in a men’s large. My camo pants are true to size in a 2x. My purple faux fur is also true to size in 1x. My Jordan 1s are true to size as well in a women’s 10.
