Hey Curvies!!!
Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this casual mauve look!
I will say this over and over I love pink. As my number one favorite color there is not a shade of pink that I do not like. Seeing this mauve sweater made me so happy! I knew that it would be the perfect piece to my growing sweater collection. It has taken me years to actually like sweaters and now I am all in.
Styling this mauve sweater was so easy. Mainly, because everything was found in my closet. I wanted to wear some work appropriate distressed denim (similar). These jeans may not be appropriate at every company but they are appropriate at my current company. I then added my pink snakeskin booties (similar) to add some print. Lastly, I added these super cute gazelle earrings.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size XL in this mauve sweater and is true to size. My distressed denim (similar) is true to size in a 18. My pink snakeskin booties (similar) are true to size in a 10.
