Hey Curvies!!!
New month, means new series! I am so excited to bring you all the “Comfortably Chic” series for the month of December. This time last year Southern Curve Collective were bringing you all festive holiday looks filled with sparkle and glam. Being that we are in the most of a global pandemic I have decided to bring you all some comfortable yet chic looks that will be perfect whether you are celebrating the holidays at your home or attending a small gathering with friends.
Next up is this all black look with a little sparkle added! I have grown to love wearing all black. In the past I would throw in a pop of color but these days I will take my black outfit in totality. It is so refreshing to wear all black and still feel chic. My number one thing with wearing all black is textures. I love to layer textures with this look my satin dress paired with my fishnet (ish) tights created a combination that is effortless. Do you wear all black?
Styling this black dress (similar) was so fun! I remember buying my boots months ago and waiting for the perfect moment to wear them. This is the moment! These boots make me feel like a girly rock star and the jewels are removable and instantly give the boots a grungy look. I then added some Gucci tights (on Poshmark) to sass this look up and they did not disappoint. Lastly, I added a Gucci crossbody for a bit of glam.
Style Notes: My dress (similar) is a size XXL and is true to size. My boots are a size 11 and are a perfect fit. My Gucci tights (on Poshmark) are a size large and are extremely generous in stretch.
