I am so excited to be bringing you all a brand new series, “Fitted.” I am no stranger to fitted dresses and everyone knows a nice pair of fitted jeans is like a superpower these days. I have been collecting items that fit good and now I get to share them with you all. This series will feature bodycons, and some jeans that actually fit my hips and waist!
I am so excited about this black mesh maxi set! I was on the hunt to find the cutest blogiversary outfit and I lucked up on this gem! Not gonna lie, I knew I wanted to show a little skin, but keep it cute. This outfit was initially sold out and when it restocked I jumped on it! I feel like it is sexy, sassy, tasteful, and some more sexy. Also, it is completely out of my comfort zone so it took me reassuring myself and my best friend’s cheering me on to get into this little number. I tried it on and wanted to cry tears of joy. It was perfect and I felt so comfortable with myself and this outfit.
I love that this black mesh maxi set is indeed a set, the top is actually a mesh bodysuit and the bottom is a high waist skirt with a fishtail. Not going to lie, the fishtail added a little razzle dazzle for sure! Styling came easy for me. I knew I wanted gold earrings but toyed with the idea of either gold heels or black heels. Then I realized that black block heels would be perfect.
Style Notes: My black mesh maxi set is a 2x and I am happy I sized up. This dress is fitted but not extremely stretchy and I wanted the length. My black block heels are true to size in a 10.
