Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this super cute casual Friday look!
I love a good casual Friday look and this light blue look is probably my favorite right now. I love wearing color to work. It makes me feel free and happy. All while remembering the days I was stuck in brown, navy blue, and black. I remember feeling uncertain and keeping it super basic at work. Not anymore, I am living in color!
Styling this look made me happy. This light blue top has the most beautiful ruffles on the sleeves and they are voluminous too! I instantly remembered seeing these light blue booties and my outfit was born! I did care whether the blues were an exact match because my goal was to break them up using a light colored coat and light denim jeans. Mission accomplished!
Style Notes: My light blue top is true to size in an XL. My coat is true to size in an XL. My jeans are also true to size in an 18. My booties are an 10 wide and fit perfectly.
