Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this super look where I added bright booties!
Can I let you all in on a secret? I have still been wearing my booties, especially to work. I know, I know that it is April. In a perfect work my boots and booties would be packed away, my closet would be fully transitioned with Spring and Summer in full effect. Yeah, no. That is why my bright booties were perfect for this outfit.
I have had this outfit since November and the whole goal was to style it as a Millennial Workwear outfit and somewhere along the way I forgot. Lucky me because this is a perfect transitional outfit. I loved the bright graphic tee paired with the gold pleated skirt (similar). Adding my bright booties (similar) definitely set the tone for this Springtime look!
Style Notes: My graphics tee is true to size in an XL. My gold pleated skirt (similar) is also an XL, but is too big in the waist. My bright booties (similar) are an 11, because I size up in booties.
