New month means new series! I am so excited for the month of April series “Dress to Impress.” I am a true lover of dresses. Dresses have always been my favorite type of clothing, because it takes the guesswork out of creating a good outfit. I remember being younger and getting excited about buying jeans, somewhere between high school and college. Then I discovered the world of dresses and never returned to jean land. Let’s get into this super cute short floral dress!
This short floral dress has me feeling myself. I remember seeing it online and wanting it without considering the length. That felt like freedom! I usually am not a of shirt dresses but the print on this one had me sold! Floral print is probably my second favorite print, right after leopard.
Styling a dress is the easiest thing ever. When wearing a printed dress, like this short floral dress, just pick a color. Literally, do not over think it, either pick a color that is not highlighted or pick the main color in the print. That makes your life super easy. I chose light blue block heels and they are bomb!
Styling Notes: I am wearing a size 3x in this short floral dress. This dress does not have any stretch and has buttons. I sized up to avoid gapping. My light blue block heels are true to size in a 10.
