Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this super neutral work approved outfit!
I know wearing neutrals in the workplace can be boring but try to ombre your neutral look. I love to pair a light color on top, in this instance the waistline looks smaller. Adding a dark bottom slims you down effortlessly. Styling this look was so easy because I paired my matching tortoiseshell block heels and tortoiseshell handbag set. Having matching sets make completing outfits so easy.
Styling Notes: My tan top is true to size in a XL. My brown skirt is an XL and fits perfectly. The cool thing about this skirt is that it is double lined. My tortoiseshell block heels are true to size in a 10.
