Hey Curvies!!!
New month means new series!!! I am so excited to be bringing you all the new series “Date Night.” Dating can be super fun or super bad, but the perfect outfit makes things better or at least you look better. There are a few types of dates that warrant for diverse style. Dinner to me is super sexy, but tasteful. An outing like bowling or mini golf cause for something super casual and easy. Movies are the “catch-all” look you can either be kinda sexy, casual or both by mixing it up. Concerts are my favorite because you get to be classy, sexy, and by adding a denim jacket causal. Buckle up and come on a journey as I dress for the different types of dates previously mentioned. First up is getting dressed for dinner!
I am on a mission to get my last few Summer looks out the way! This dress is the perfect tropical dress that deserved a blog post! I love that the colors are so vibrant yet they all flowed together to create this beautiful print. Looking at this dress I felt like the material was jersey but I was wrong! This dress feels like a scuba material and scuba material is not as flexible as jersey which helps it holds shape wonderfully.
Styling this dress was so exciting! I wanted to pull the blues out but opted for red. Red is so vibrant and captivating. Red is a naturally bold and sexy color that translates well on a date. I styled this look with my red block heels sandals because they are cute and super comfortable to walk in. I then added my red long tassel earrings because they are both long and lightweight. These accessories created an entire vibe and I love it!
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 1x in my dress and it is true to size. My red block heel sandals are also true to size in a 10.
