Hey Curvies!!!
New month means new series!!! I am so excited to be bringing you all the new series “Date Night.” Dating can be super fun or super bad, but the perfect outfit makes things better or at least you look better. There are a few types of dates that warrant for diverse style. Dinner to me is super sexy, but tasteful. An outing like bowling or mini golf cause for something super casual and easy. Movies are the “catch-all” look you can either be kinda sexy, casual or both by mixing it up. Concerts are my favorite because you get to be classy, sexy, and by adding a denim jacket causal. Buckle up and come on a journey as I dress for the different types of dates previously mentioned. Second up is getting dressed for the movies!
As previously mentioned an outfit for the movies is the “catch-all” look you can either be kinda sexy, casual or both by mixing it up. I decided to style a kinda sexy and kinda casual look. This is the first time in my adult life where I own true high waist jeans. Now I have had jeans that were supposed to be high waist but after a couple wears lose their shape. Sometimes the jeans would even slide down my waist while wearing them.
With all of my issues concerning jeans finding a true high waist pair that does not gap in the waist is gold. It was only right that my movies outfit feature a good pair of jeans (similar) and a crop top. This outfit may seem a little simple but is definitely on the sexy casual meter. This quick movies outfit may have you going out for drinks afterwards. I loved wearing a long sleeve crop top because it is fall approved. With my jean collection having true high waist jeans in I am definitely wearing crop tops this fall.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 16 in my jeans (similar). These jeans are specifically made for women that have crazy waist to hip ratio. I am usually a size 18 or even a 20 in other jeans. My crop top is true to size in a 12, I teether between a 12/14/XL.
