I am super excited to announce that Denzel of Denzel Alexander and I are bringing you all a brand new “Fall Plus 2021” series for the month of October. We will be styling black looks of course with our personal styles in mind. I love the fact that our styles are different yet we definitely proudly represent our respective plus size spaces. Denzel and I are super excited to be bringing you all another four-part series. First up we are styling black sweats!
I am a lover of sweatpants! I know over the past year they have gotten a bad reputation for being the “clothes of the lazy” but like any other clothing item they are truly what you make it. I love a good comfortable look and was so in love with this jumpsuit. It made me so excited and I could not wait to get my hands on it. It feels just like a sweatpants set, but features a drawstring at the waist.
It was super cool to style a sweatpants jumpsuit. Kinda like a dream come true! I actually purchased this cropped letterman jacket first and knew I wanted to create a cool look. Pairing my cropped letterman jacket (similar) with my jumpsuit was amazing. Lastly, these sneakers literally landed in my lap. I received an restock email and instantly remembered my jacket. I ordered them so fast my head begin to spin.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 22 in this jumpsuit. I ordered my usual 16 and it was too small, so I sized up to ensure a looser fit. My cropped letterman jacket (similar) is true to size in a 1x, please order your true size there is no give. My sneakers are also true to size in a men’s 8.5/women’s 10.
