Hey Curvies!!!
Millennial workwear is an ongoing series that features workwear options for millennials that are entering corporate America. In the early stages of my career I was under the impression that black was the only color that fit my company’s dress code. I was so wrong. What is important is the fit. Let’s get into this shacket!
This year if you can only wear it one place, then you might not need it. For years I’ve been slowly buying pieces that I wear to wear to work and leisurely. As a millennial in corporate America with a love for fashion my wardrobe has started to merge and I love it! Merging your wardrobe can be hard if you ate only looking at your pieces one way. Start planning multiple outfits at a time to truly see the potential. No worries! I will be right here to help!
Styling this shacket for work was super easy. It is cold outside and this flannel shacket is truly doing the trick! I was super happy to layer this shacket with a shirt dress. The fit of this shirt dress (similar) was perfect, I usually never get to wear them because typically they are tight on my hips. Not this one! It is cold so adding tights was a no brainer. Now for the boots! They definitely added another layer and now I’m all set!
Style Notes: I am wearing an XXL in this dress (similar) and it fits great. I loved that the buttons did not pop or poke out. My shacket is a size XL and has an oversized fit. My tights are a size E-F and fit amazingly well. My boots are an 11 and are true to size.
