I am so excited to bring you all a new series for March “Mean Green”. This series will feature creative ways to wear and style green items. In this series I will create a look centered around an accessory, a monochromatic look for the daring woman, and even a sweater dress. Let’s get into this super cute look where green accessories were the star!
I absolutely love and appreciate accessories. A look can go from drab to fab or bad to worse. I have learned to accessorize two ways: matching handbag and shoes or match my earrings with my shoes. Those two ways have simplified my life and made my outfits better. I even have my accessories catergorized by color (will show later) and I just let the vibe decide the earrings.
I absolutely loved styling this outfit because I rarely do denim on denim in this manner. I had these light colored skinny jeans and decided to go with a dark top and I loved the puff sleeves! I knew I would be doing a green series and found the perfect green block heels. After finding the green block heels I remembered my green tassel earrings and the look came together effortlessly. I added my denim Gucci bag because it felt right. How would you style your denim on denim?
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 16 in my jeans, I am typically a size 18/20 in denim but these jeans were made specifically for my body type. My top is a 1x and the fit is perfect with no gapping buttons. My green block heels are true to size in a 10.
