I am so excited to bring you all a new series for May “Melanin in Yellow”. This series will feature creative ways to wear and style yellow! In this series I will create a look with a yellow colorblock dream, a dreamy crop top, and even a look featuring an amazing set. Let’s get into this beautiful blazer set!
I have been following so many awesome fashion bloggers who rock blazers and I had to get my hands on another one. I love the fact that both the crop top (similar) and blazer (similar) are from the same place so the colors are an exact match. This is a boyfriend blazer which makes this blazer a little longer with an oversized look and I love it.
Styling this outfit was a dream! I was so happy to grab the blazer (similar) and the matching crop top (similar) together because that made my life a lot easier! Then I went on the hunt for the perfect light wash jeans and found them! These light wash jeans are amazing, because they are hight waist with some tasteful distressing. My outfit was almost complete then I found my white platforms!!!!! You all, I love these platforms soooooo much! They feel like you are walking on clouds! Lastly, I found a cute white handbag to complete the look!
Style Notes: My blazer (similar) and crop top (similar) are true to size in an XL. My light wash jeans are a size 16 in the curvy fit denim, all my curvy fit denim are size 16 and my typical jean size is a 18/20. My white platforms are a size 10 and are too tight around the ankle, I have this same style shoe in a 9 wide and the ankle strap is much better.
