I am so excited to bring you all a new series for July “Pretty in Pink”. This series will feature creative ways to wear and style pink, my favorite color! In this series I will create a look with a gorgeous top, a dreamy dress with side cutouts, and an amazing pink body on. Let’s get into this beautiful kimono (similar) I wore for date night!
Can I be honest curvies? I wore this kimono (similar) last Summer in Miami with a hot pink swimsuit and loved it. I felt so girly and the kimono is extremely light and flow-ey. Light and free flowing kimonos are perfect for summer especially with crop tops or super cute short shorts. My next look will definitely feature a kimono (similar) with short shorts.
Styling this kimono was a blast! As previously mentioned, I wore this kimono (similar) with a swimsuit and knew I wanted to style it differently. I put this kimono in the cleaners and decided to wear this kimono for date night. I felt like royalty and I felt so cute! I loved pairing this kimono (similar) with my amazing fitted jeans with my white crop top. I decided to wear a small white handbag and magenta colored platform sandals (similar).
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 16 in this kimono (similar) and the fit was amazing. My jeans are a size 16 in the curvy fit. My white crop top is true to size in an XL. My magenta platform sandals (similar) are true to size in a 10.
