I am so excited to bring you all a new series “Wear the Dress”. This series will feature creative ways to wear and style dresses, my favorite clothing item of all time! In this series I will create a look with an edgy look featuring a cutout dress, a super cute sweater dress look, a super colorful dress and a sexy knit dress look! First up in this series is this edgy orange dress.
Ladies I love, love, love a good dress! After years of understanding and loving on my body I can honestly say bodycons are my favorite silhouette of dress. In the past I would have the urge to try all of the silhouettes or “love them all,” truth is I do not. I love a good dress because it’s an easy outfit and really no fuss.
Styling this orange dress was pretty dope! I’m actually wearing the dress backwards. Backwards! Ladies don’t be afraid to wear a dress in a different way it’s represented online or in store. I felt like the party was definitely in the back. I love how the little cutout made this orange dress sexy and edgy at the same time. I wanted to add black and went with my black denim jacket (Similar). I knew my black and white sandals (Similar) were a great fit to complete this look and I loved how it turned out.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size x-large in this orange dress, I opted for a fitted look instead of an “a-line” fit. My denim jacket (Similar) is true to size in a 14. My black and white sandals (Similar) are also true to size in a 10, ladies this shoes are at least 4 years old.
