I am so excited to bring you all a new series “Wear the Dress”. This series will feature creative ways to wear and style dresses, my favorite clothing item of all time! In this series I will create a look with an edgy look featuring a cutout dress, a super cute sweater dress look, a super colorful dress and a sexy knit dress look! Second up in this series is this sweater dress.
You know what of the year it is? It sweater weather! I know, I know it is time to layer up worldwide but in Memphis we are still having 80 degree weather. An easy way to indulge in Fall trends while dressing weather appropriately is pairing a cute sweater dress with bare legs and a pair of booties.
Styling this sweater dress was extremely easy. I loved that the form fitting dress featured a cropped overlay. I wanted to add some some extra color and opted for these drop earrings that feature both green and pink as well as adding gold bangles. Lastly, I pulled all of the browns together by adding my tan round bag to complete the look.
Style Notes: My sweater dress is a size large and I love how fitted it is. My booties are a size 11.
