I am so excited to bring you all a brand new series “True Blue” This series will feature creative ways to wear and style the shades of blue for occasions. For me this series will feature a brunch worthy denim outfit, a stunning yet chill concert look, a girl’s night out worthy printed dress, and a sexy date night look that will for sure turn heads. First up is this brunch worthy outfit featuring light denim flares.
Curvies what exactly do you wear to brunch? I am not going to lie it took some time but I have nailed down my brunch worthy look formula. Are you ready for my formula??? A cardigan/duster (not top underneath if it has buttons, instant sexy top) + cute denim (can be skinny or flares, make sure they stretch) + super cute bag (the smaller the better) + block heels (or any platform, we have to walk out of the restaurant) = the cutest outfit ever that is mimosa and good food proof. I have been wearing this formula and it is both sexy and cute.
Styling this brunch worthy outfit was super exciting. I actually had to wear a white crop top under my duster because it did not have buttons. This duster has been in closet for months and the perfect time to wear it was now! I loved pairing this duster with my light denim flares because the colors flowed. I completed this look with orange platforms and gold accessories.
Style Notes: My duster is a one size fits all and actually has a little weight to it. I will say that I am still getting the fabric out of my hair, so be mindful of the shedding. Also, shipping took about 3 weeks but it was noted before purchasing. My denim flares are size 16. My orange platforms are true to size in a 10. My crop top is also true to size in an XL.
