Hey Curvies!!!
I am so excited to bring you all a brand new series “Wear the Dress.” This series will selfishly feature dresses that have been sitting in my closet for months. For me this series is necessary and will feature a cool denim, a backless brown dress, a textured red maxi, and a super cute matching set. First up is this gorgeous denim dress (similar).
Curvies this denim dress (similar) took me back to my childhood, my mom wore stylish denim skirts and denim dresses. My mom would wear her denim skirts with the bottom buttons undone with the most gorgeous stiletto sandals all of the time. You all, my mom, was so stylish and I am sure she contributed to my style. I felt so beautiful and feminine wearing this dress and I cannot wait to wear it out.
Styling this denim dress (similar) was super easy because I kept it super simple, because I wanted Peanut to shine through. I wore gold and pink metal earrings and cognac platform sandals. I absolutely love these sandals and they feel like I walk on clouds. Can we talk about how cute Peanut’s outfit is? Mommies please utilize those Easter outfits! Peanut wore his blazer, vest, white shirt, and bow tie with khakis on Easter Sunday. It was the cutest take on a suit and decided to add denim jeans to compliment my denim dress. We look good!!!!
Style Notes: I am wearing a 2x in this dress (similar) to account for functional buttons, I am an 18/20 on the bottom and went with a larger size outside of my typical 1x. This dress is so good and has excellent stretch. My cognac platform sandals are true to size in a 10, they are super comfortable.
