Hey Curvies!!!
I am so excited to bring you all a brand new series “Wear the Dress.” This series will selfishly feature dresses that have been sitting in my closet for months. For me this series is necessary and will feature a cool denim, gorgeous denim dress, a textured red maxi, and a super cute matching set. Second up is this a backless brown dress.
Curvies, my favorite style of dress is becoming backless dresses. I honestly spent countless Summers hiding my arms, wearing floor length maxi dresses, and being hot for too long. Finding myself, being comfortable in body, and choosing not to be hot is liberating and I am here for it. I absolutely love how comfortable I am in my skin and I love showing.
Styling this backless brown dress was everything to me and I love it. I wanted to really hone in on the brown and went with it. I had to add my brown crossbody because the print looks perfect with this dress. I was so happy to find these brown platforms because they are perfect in every possible way. These are the most comfortable and light platform sandals I own and I love that for me.
Style Notes: I am wearing a size 12 in this backless brown dress and it is from the maternity department. This dress fits amazingly well and I typically wear an XL or 1X. My brown platforms are true to size in a 10.
