Style a Striped Maxi Dress with Bold Accessories

May 14, 2025

Hey Curvies!!!

I’m so excited to bring you another look from my True to Blue series! At this point, it’s an annual tradition where I share creative, fun, and bold ways to wear and style all things blue. In this year’s edition, I’ve styled a flowy blue maxi with side cutouts, an off-the-shoulder blue stunner, and a bright pink dress with blue accents. But today? Let’s get into this striped maxi dress (sign up for restock) that stole the show!

This striped off-the-shoulder maxi (sign up for restock) is a total moment. As soon as I saw it, I knew it would hug in all the right places. It gives that bodycon feel without being too tight, thanks to the soft, breathable fabric. The off-shoulder detail is just the right mix of cute and elevated—I’m already planning to wear it for an upcoming date night.

How to Style a Striped Maxi Dress with Color:

Stripes are basically a neutral in my world, so I love pairing them with bold accessories. For this look, I added my green printed sandals (a forever favorite), (similar), a bright green handbag, and a pair of pink sunnies to give it that pop! Mixing colors and prints made this outfit feel playful, bold, and so me. It’s the perfect look for weekend outings, dinner dates, or even a casual outdoor event.

Style Notes:

Striped Maxi Dress (sign up for restock): Size Large – Super stretchy and true to size. Feels fitted without being restrictive. Green Printed Sandals (similar): Size 10 – Old favorite that are comfy, colorful, and easy to walk in. Accessories: Bright green handbag and pink sunglasses—fun touches that make the stripes stand out even more.

He made me a momma, and I’ve been at it for 6 years now. So thankful for my Peanut.

He’s the reason I get to celebrate today.

Happy Mother’s Day to my momma. It’s been two Happy Mother’s Day to my momma. It’s been two years without her physically here, and last week was tough. I’m not one to complain much, but I found myself sleepless, sad, and irritable.

Today, I finally let it all out. I don’t feel better exactly, but I’m not as sad and I’ll take that.

Grateful for the 34 years I had with her. My favorite girl, forever.
